AFSCME 3090 Code of Conduct

AFSCME Local 3090 is committed to ensuring a safe, secure and respectful environment for everyone – members, non-members, staff, vendors, guests and visitors. It is our expectation that all members adhere to both our AFSCME Local and International Constitutions. Members are to demonstrate civil and respectful behavior at all meetings, when representing the union and when conducting union business. Local 3090 expressly prohibits:

• Profanity/abusive language, including threats and name calling.
• Sexual harassment, as defined by the City of Los Angeles • Discrimination, as defined by the City of Los Angeles
• Physical assault
• Illegal drugs
• Weapons
• Criminal activity

The Local 3090 Executive Board reserves the right to take the appropriate action(s) to address any illegal activities and any disruptive, inappropriate and/or aggressive behavior.
