California Democratic Party 2025 State Convention
Gabrielle Earl, our 3090 Political Legislative Action Committee Chair, attended the California Democratic Party 2025 State Convention on May 30th to June 1st, 2025, in Anaheim, California. A Weekend to Remember that was filled with hard conversations, yet a positive outlook for the future of our State and Nation. She actively stressed the current budget deficit in hopes of support to the employees that keep the City of Los Angeles running. Gabrielle attended various trainings and participated in several caucuses that were focused on labor and human rights. Saturday morning she rallied alongside other Union members and labor leaders opposing healthcare and Medicaid cuts.
Gabrielle attended the DEI Works for California reception hosted by Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas where several panelists urged the need for DEI, especially for working families.
Over the duration of the convention several potential candidates for the 2026 Governor race expressed their tactical plans on how they would contribute to the state of California given the opportunity. One thing Gabrielle would take away from the California Democratic Party 2025 State Convention is the importance of actively voting because your vote will write your future.
