New L.A. City Hires Discover the Benefits of the Mighty3090 

Attendance was robust for the Bridge to Jobs program’s new employee orientation meeting held in downtown Los Angeles on October 26. Nearly 30 new hires were treated to an overview of the benefits of joining the Mighty3090 by union President Larry Gates and Vice President Adda Murillo.

In addition to discussing 3090’s expanded vision insurance benefits, free college opportunities, and the basics of a union member’s Weingarten rights, President Gates also announced a personal milestone: on November 17, he will be celebrating his 20th anniversary as a L.A. city worker and union member.
