Notification of Election Challenge Decision
Dear Brothers and Sisters of Mighty 3090,
This notice is to inform the membership that on October 4, 2024, an election challenge was presented to the 2024 Local 3090 Election Committee.
The challenge was regarding a nominee’s membership status and eligibility to run for a 2024 Executive Board office.
On Monday October 7, 2024, a meeting with the Election Committee was held with both parties, in which they were both given an opportunity to present their argument. Following the meeting, the election committee convened and came to the following decision:
Upon verification with the International body representing our local 3090, the nominee’s status and eligibility was found to be in good standing, which qualified the nominee to be a candidate for this election. We, the election committee, notified the parties involved of our findings and decision.
